The public programmes are conducted through the UMS Center for Professional Development (UCPD). The aim is to provide life long opportunity for public to enhance their skill, knowledge and talent. Most of the programmes are conducted at both indoor and outdoor. Currently, ULink through the UCPD is managing the UMS's prestigious outbound center known as UMS-outdoor Development Center (UMS-ODEC). Among the programmes that have been offered through this UCPD include the Intensive English Programme, Hotel Management, Information Technology, Stress Management, Leadership and Decision making, Creative Thinking, Plantation Management, Financial Management, Eco-Tourism etcetera.
