UMS Link Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (ULink) was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 on 25th May 1999. ULink is a wholly-owned company of UMS with 100% of its share are fully subscribed by the university, with a total authorized share capital of RM25 million at par value of RM1.00 each share and a paid-up capital of RM5 million. The incorporation of ULink was approved by the Ministry of Finance on 1st August 2006 and the Ministry of Higher Education on 15th August 2006.

ULink is the commercial and business arm of UMS with its main objective to generate revenue for the university. ULink strives to bring UMS to greater heights by promoting knowledge and R&D through the commercialization of UMS research and development inventions, innovation, services, academic programmes and expertise.
