UMS Link Centre for Professional Development (UCPD) was established on 1st April 2007 with a target to offering programmes to the government agencies and private sectors.

Thus, UMS through UCPD envision to provide a platform for talent, skill, knowledge and other competencies development required by all walks of life. UCPD also aims to be a preferred training centre in the region. To-date, UCPD has offered various in-door training and outdoor training programmes to both government and corporate sectors. UCPD has established UMS-Outdoor Development Centre (UMS-ODEC) which is the premier centre for outdoor experiential programmes of the university.
